What more could you want than a meeting of minds of one of the most respected UK dub masters, Dennis Bovell, and the experimental lo-fi home studio wiz Yoonkee. Sometimes referred to as the Korean Lee Scratch Perry, Yoonkee garnered the attention of Dennis, who requested to work with the young prodigy. By layering instruments played by his own hand, Dennis proceeded to transform from the rough start of Yoonkee's demo to a clear gem, its true character revealed. 韓国のリー・ペリーとも称されるレゲエ、ダブの奇才yoonkee。ロンドン在住はスケーターとして活動しながらでも音楽を発表して、レゲエ/ダブ ファンからヒップホップ、エレクトロニックミュージックのリスナーの間で話題になっていた。彼は14歳からトラックを作り始め、Lo-Fiでありながらも クリエイティビティと遊び心に溢れたそのマイペースで独特なサウンドは、世界中にコアなファンを持つ。そんな彼を今回プロデュースしたのは、ＵＫダブ界の 重鎮、Dennis Bovell。DennisはUK初のレゲエバンドMatumbiで活動し、80年代にPop GroupやThe Slitsのプロデュースをした伝説のプロデューサー。レーベル側から彼にYoonkeeの音源を聞かせると、一聴して気に入り、本作のプロデュースに 買って出てくれた。本作では言葉も文化も違う、新旧の才能がぶつかり合い化学反応を起こしている。デニスの職人的な音処理によって、Yoonkeeの作る 楽曲の良さが全面的にアピールされている。
