Setopianicsは菱垣貴史によるポスト・ロック〜ダブ系1人ユニットだ。自主制作のCD-RがマニアックなＣＤショップでで瞬く間に売り切 れブレイクビーツの名手として国内外にその名を轟かせている。ピアニカを主体としたミドル・テンポのダブやフォーキーなチルアウトなどを収録。映画音楽な ども手掛ける実力派らしい、高品位な仕上がりだ。彼は昼間は漫画カフェ（膨大な量のマンガとゲームなどを常備した24時間営業の個室喫茶）で働きながら、 自分自身の音楽を、たった一人で録音してきた。彼は時間を見つけては安いスタジオに入り、ギター、ベース、ドラム、ピアノ、それからその他の細かい音ま で、すべての楽器をすべて一人で演奏し、ひとつづつのパートの録音を孤独に重ねていき、あたかも1つのバンドが演奏をしているかのような音楽を作り上げ た。若干21歳の本格的なニューアルバムである。
