Roberto Carcasses, along with Interactivo (the band he commands), has been at the forefront of ushering in a new generation of youthful Cuban music. With a reputation in the studio, the man behind many acclaimed contemporary works recorded this intense session over the course of a single night. What began as a simple celebration of the completion of Raphael Sebaag's recording sessions in Cuba quickly escalated into an all out party at a recording studio involving friends, family and musicians. And, without any real beginning, and only the momentum of the moment to spur it on, 4 hours of music was quickly brought into existence.

Amoung the musicians was Yusa who, although no professional singer, proved herself to have a smooth tone beyond her years, and captivated all those present. On top of that, a truly happy surprise awaited in Roberto's father Bobby Carcasses, esteemed scat-singer and leader of the older generation of cuban musicians, who graced the session as a special guest. It all stands as undeniable proof that, when some of Cuba's greatest musicians come together with no holds barred, the music comes freely, naturally and heartfelt.
