As a member of the UNITED FUTURE ORGANIZATION (U.F.O), Raphael Sebbag was a key instigator of the "Club Jazz" movement of the 90s. Here, we present the first taste of his solo works.
Raphael has lived in Japan for over 20 years and, as a professional DJ, he played an essential role in establishing Japan's club music scene.
His recent works, which have also been featured in the movie "Music Cubana", are a collaboration with Telmary, a figure central to the new generation of Cuban hip hop. Telmary's poetry-like style is at times intense, and flows with a subtle vitality which Raphael utilizes to its fullest, to create an urban latin sound brimming with originality.
Enlisting the help of well trusted musicians and remixers to flesh out his sound, Raphael has created a record which overflows with life, music and love.
