Killer bong continues the series of Metropolitan Dub he began with his first powershovel release, 「Tokyo Dub」.

In contrast to the tight contained sound showcased on his first release, Killer Bong now strides off into a desolate wasteland of blips and gritty drums. Although the typical sample-heavy hip-hop style (dictated by his tool of choice, the legendary Akai MPC sampler/drum machine) is still held firmly in place, this release sees the artist entering the studio to concentrate on wringing out all he could from the sound palette before him. The addition of saxophone, scraching, sitar and more from fellow members of the Black Smoker crew brings his sound closer in spirit and feel to Jazz, while still retaining his dark dubby roots. A truly majestic album.
